Daejeon Hanwha Life Ball Park, which was built with a project cost of 207.4 billion won, was built with two basement floors and four floors above the ground (total floor area of about 58,539㎡). It was first shown to the media last month and made its debut to fans through exhibition games.

Hanwha completed internal construction in time for the opening game of its home after being entrusted with the right to use it by Daejeon City on the 1st. Infinity Pool, which will be installed for the first time in Korea, is scheduled to open in the middle of next month in consideration of user safety.

Meanwhile, Hanwha decided to cancel the fireworks event scheduled for the home opener in consideration of the casualties caused by the recent large forest fire. The club said, "As the worst wildfire ever caused a lot of casualties, we decided not to hold the event in consideration of social pain," adding, "We will replace the fireworks event with a drone show event after the game."
